1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Brickr Bot Builder ("Brickr", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, dashboard, and related services.

By using Brickr, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Information we collect

We collect information necessary to authenticate you, operate your bots, provision hosting, and improve the service.

  • Account data from Discord OAuth, such as your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email where provided.
  • Bot configuration data, including bot names, flow graphs, triggers, actions, Discord client IDs, and stored bot tokens.
  • Usage and operational data, such as credits consumed, RAM allocations, server identifiers, logs needed for support, and feature usage within the dashboard.
  • Technical data, such as IP address, browser type, session identifiers, and error diagnostics.

3. How we use information

We use collected information to provide and secure the service, including authenticating users, validating Discord bot tokens, deploying and operating hosted bot runtimes, syncing flows, and displaying console or server status.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified data to monitor performance, prevent abuse, and improve product features.

4. Bot tokens and sensitive credentials

When you connect a Discord bot, Brickr stores your bot token so the runtime can authenticate with Discord on your behalf. Treat this as sensitive credentials data.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored tokens and related secrets, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for rotating compromised tokens promptly.

5. Third-party services

Brickr relies on third-party providers to operate. Depending on your configuration, these may include Discord, PostgreSQL/database hosting, Pterodactyl or other server providers, authentication services, and infrastructure vendors.

Information processed by third parties is subject to their own privacy policies and terms. We share only the data reasonably necessary for those providers to perform services for Brickr.

6. Data retention

We retain account, bot, and configuration data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

When you delete a bot or close your account, we delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for security, billing, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

7. Security

We implement access controls, encryption in transit where supported, and operational safeguards designed to protect user data.

You should use strong account security practices, limit bot permissions to what your automations require, and avoid sharing dashboard access or bot tokens with unauthorized parties.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal data we hold about you.

You can update certain account information in the dashboard and disconnect bots by removing stored tokens. For other requests, contact us using the details provided on the Brickr website or dashboard.

9. Children

Brickr is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing without parental authorization. We do not knowingly collect personal data from such children.

10. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our infrastructure or service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the dashboard or website.

12. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how Brickr handles data, contact us through the support or contact channel listed on the Brickr website or dashboard.
